Common questions

What is Telonics?
A quantitative research house that sells research-backed TradingView strategies. Each strategy is a Pine script you add to your own charts — it plots the entries, stops, and targets, and you either trade the signals yourself or automate them with TradingView alerts.
Who is it for?
Traders who want rules-based strategies with real proof behind them instead of guesswork or guru hype. If you use TradingView and want tested strategies on your charts, it's for you.
Which brokers or prop firms are supported?
The strategies run on TradingView, so they work on any chart. To automate them, TradingView alerts can connect to most brokers and prop firms that permit automated, third-party trading — please confirm your firm allows it. You can also just trade the signals manually anywhere. You are responsible for complying with your firm's rules.
Do you ever hold my money or my broker login?
No. Everything runs in your own TradingView account. We never take custody of your funds and never hold your broker credentials. You keep full control and can cancel at any time.
Are the published stats live or backtested?
The performance figures on the site are backtested / hypothetical, a simulation over 2019–2026, with the 2025–2026 period walk-forward out-of-sample. We also run these strategies ourselves. Backtested and simulated results have inherent limitations and do not represent actual trading; past performance does not predict future results. See our Risk Disclosure.
How is position size decided?
You set it. Each strategy has sizing controls in its TradingView settings (the gear icon → Sizing): choose your account size (a preset, or your exact balance under “Custom account $”) and your risk % per trade. The strategy then sizes each trade to risk that percentage of your balance — adjusting the number of contracts so the entry-to-stop distance fits — and it always trades at least 1 micro contract. The default is 1% risk on a 150k account; you choose what fits you. It's your chart and your settings.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes — anytime. Manage or cancel your subscription from your account page, and access continues to the end of your billing period. Since the strategies run in your own TradingView, you're always in control of when they're on your charts.
Can I get a refund?
Yes — there's a 7-day money-back guarantee on your first payment. If you're not satisfied, just reach out within 7 days of your first charge — email info@telonicstrading.com or message us in the support chat — for a full refund, no questions asked. Renewals aren't refundable, but you can cancel anytime to stop the next one — and if you're ever charged for a renewal you didn't mean to keep, contact us within 72 hours and we'll refund it. Full details in our refund policy.
What if I automate it and something goes down?
If you automate a strategy through TradingView alerts, automated trading depends on technology and third-party connectivity and can fail — outages, latency, rejected or partial orders, and slippage can all affect results. You are responsible for monitoring your own account. See our Risk Disclosure.
Will it pass my prop-firm evaluation?
A tested strategy removes some of the behavioral mistakes that fail most evaluations, but it does not guarantee you pass or stay funded. Prop-firm rules — trailing and daily drawdown, consistency, news restrictions — still apply and can be breached by market conditions, slippage, or a technical failure. Results vary.
What does it cost?
The full strategy suite is one subscription, billed quarterly or annually. Cancel anytime. See Pricing for current rates.
How do I get started?
Subscribe on the Pricing section, then enter your TradingView username at checkout — we grant invite-only access instantly. Add the strategies to your charts and you're ready to trade.
How do I add the scripts to my chart — and what if they don't show up?
In TradingView, open the Indicators dialog (the “Indicators” button at the top of your chart), go to the Invite-only scripts tab, and click each Telonics script to add it. If they don't appear right after you subscribe, give it a minute and refresh TradingView — the grant can take a moment to sync. If they're still missing after that, email info@telonicstrading.com and we'll sort it out.
Do I need a paid TradingView plan? Why is my chart delayed?
The scripts work on any TradingView plan, including the free one — you don't need a paid TradingView subscription to use them. On the free plan, though, CME futures data is on about a 10-minute delay, so your chart and any alerts lag real time. To see the signals live, add TradingView's real-time CME data — it's around $7/month for non-professional (retail) traders and covers CME, CBOT, COMEX, and NYMEX. That data fee is paid to TradingView, not to us.
How do I set or change my TradingView username?
You enter it during checkout. To set or change it later, log in and update it on your account page — access re-grants to the corrected username.
Is this financial advice?
No. Telonics provides trading software (TradingView strategies) only. It is not a registered Commodity Trading Advisor, broker, or investment adviser, and nothing here is personalized advice. Trading futures involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for all investors.
